We'll be there! Looking forward to our next gig playing at the Great Hall Longleat House for a group visiting from Moscow. I've never been to Longleat House (even though it's right on my doorstep) so it's a bit thrilling to be invited to play there. It's always amazing to play in historic houses which would have been built around the time of some of the music we're playing. Playing chamber music in a real 'chamber' just feels fantastic... We played Bach and Mozart in the ballroom at Marston House a few weeks ago and the acoustic and the atmosphere were just tremendous.
Seona Chapman - our viola player - will be performing with The Wells Bach Society at St Cuthberts Church in Wells on 7th March at 7.30pm. She will be playing one of the solo viola parts in Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 6. It's a fantastic piece and will be a terrific concert.
